The nice weather was apparently conducive to our turnout. We even had a couple of guests today. Michael's wife Linda Bucy joined us and Justin Miller of Mr. Appliance was present as the guest of Optimist Becky Chapman.
There were no birthdays to celebrate today.
Prez Michael asked his wife to be the secret greeter today. He didn't think anybody would suspect her. She felt that Homer Erickson had the best greeting.
The prez had responsibility for the contest last week and reported a tie between Jim Tudor and Dinah Tudor. Since they live together they could work on next week's contest together.
A new contest was presented by Nick Schenkel. He asked about upcoming community events.
Drawing winners were Linda Bucy, Stephanie Mann, and Chuck Hinkle.
Our speaker was Danielle Gaylord of Signature Organizing Service and S. O. S. Relocation Services. Danielle's partner is Rita Smeyak who was not present today.
Rita and Danielle offer services in professional organizing and relocation/ transition services. Danielle's talk was about how to get and keep control of your stuff.
